Our group members are actively seeking (new) ways to communicate science. On this page you will find an overview of our initiatives.
ADHDplaza
Results of a pilot study showed us that adolescents are not well informed about ADHD, but there was a demand to learn more about ADHD. Therefore we initiated ADHDplaza, a platform for youngsters to find information and templates for lessons at Dutch middle schools .

Geocache about ADHD
Science communication can be fun! We lauched an ADHD geocache (virtaul lab cache) for the ADHD awareness month 2024.
Donders CityLab Nijmegen
Donders Citylab is committed to enhancing both scientific literacy within society and societal understanding among scientists by doing scientific research with societal impact. Visitors of public spaces learn about the human brain and behaviour whilst contributing to science as a research participant. In this way, scientific knowledge is shared with society at large and research is performed with a more diverse population and at a larger scale. At the Donders Brain Museum there is an exibition about ADHD, featuring also a movie clip with PhD student Lessa Schippers explaining her research.

Honours Lab, Radboud University
An idea that we developed a long time ago, now found its way to a course, to be more specific: an Honours lab. Here our group contributes to making an AHD escape room.
